CompressNeo is built specifically as a serverless client-side application. When you upload an image for compression, optimization, or conversion, the processing happens entirely within your web browser using HTML5 APIs and Web Workers. Your images never leave your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Because all processing is performed locally inside your browser, we do not collect, upload, process, store, or transmit any image files, metadata, or graphic elements that you load into the tool. Once the application completes compression and you close the tab, all memory buffers are instantly cleared from your local hardware cache.

2. Cookies and Tracking

CompressNeo does not use tracking cookies, targeting pixels, or third-party marketing tags. We do not use persistent identifiers to build behavioral profiles or monitor your usage across other websites.

We may use local storage (HTML5 LocalStorage) purely to remember your user interface preferences (such as light or dark visual theme toggles) so that you get a consistent appearance during subsequent visits. This data remains on your browser and is not transmitted to us.

3. Analytics

We may gather aggregate, anonymous visitor telemetry (such as country location, browser type, and page access frequency) purely to understand traffic load and improve the technical stability of our website. This telemetry contains no personally identifiable data and does not track your uploaded files.

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the local processing of personal data (including images that might contain faces, text, or location metadata) is categorized as highly secure.
